Our Mission

Christ Our Shepherd's Mission is to empower single parents to reach financial and spiritual security by providing quality children's programs, education and life skills in a Christian environment, and provide quality Christian resources and children's programs to the community at large.

Volunteer Opportunities on our Campus

Important Note: All volunteers need to submit and pass both a background check and TB test before they are allowed to volunteer for any program involving the children.

Administrative Opportunities:

• Board of Directors: Passion for our Mission; Monthly Board Meetings; Participation in Fundraising activities and financial support.

After School/Summer Camp: (1-3 hours) Tutoring—Mentoring

Child Care: Child Care Center: (1 –2 hours) Reading/Storytelling

Committees: Marketing; Program, Public Relations, COS "U" (adult Classes) and Transitional Housing Committees. New committee members are always a great asset to the team.

Community Learning Lab: (1 hour weekly) Volunteer to help students (grades 3-5) who are below reading, math and computer skill levels.

Development: The Development Department needs regular volunteers to help for research projects and social media.
