Eliminating Illiteracy!

The Community Learning Lab at Christ Our Shepherd is free to the public and was established to help those who wish to improve their literacy skills.

Our primary focus:

• Children in grades 3-5 who are below grade level in reading.
• Students 5-12 years of age who want to improve computer literacy skills.

We match our tutors one-to-one with students to foster supportive relationships between students and tutors.

We are currently using “Reading Blaster”, a program developed by Knowledge Adventure.

WE NEED VOLUNTEER TUTORS

 Time commitment – one hour a week

 Specialty Groups – If you have a need of training computers for a group of students, employees or church members our Community Learning Lab is available for your use. Pre-approval and scheduling required. A small fee may apply.

Monday – Thursday – 12 Noon to 6:00 PM

Friday – 12 Noon to 4:00 PM
